EXPLORE HOW WE CAN HELP YOU
Outdoor Development Plans

Outdoor activities are a serious matter, and as such, they must be approached with adequate planning. A territory becomes attractive and livable only if solutions are found that maintain a balance between natural resources and low-impact infrastructure, between enthusiasts and the local community.

WHAT WE DO

We develop product strategy: from defining vision and concept to designing outdoor products and experiences. We help territories and organizations enter the perspective of outdoor enthusiasts by finding effective and innovative solutions. We create outdoor masterplans for mountain, coastal, and inland areas. We co-design experiences in collaboration with local operators, provide support for the implementation of structural interventions, and assist territorial entities in managing attractions over time.

WHO WE SERVE

DMOs, public and private consortia, public administrations, mountain communities, foundations and development agencies, companies and business networks, natural parks and research centers.

Outdoor Academy

The Outdoors is not just a powerful tourism development tool, but it is a lifestyle. Understanding its dynamics, delving into its mechanisms, and knowing its benchmarks, models, and "myths" are essential. Outdoor Academy was born for this purpose: a compass designed to navigate the ever-evolving world of outdoor tourism, from theory to practice.

WHAT WE DO

We develop customized training programs on outdoor tourism planning and management. We hold keynote speeches on trends, changes, and innovations shaping the world of outdoor tourism. We conduct Outdoor Labs, moments of reflection, innovation, and design of tailor-made outdoor experiences for territories, with a hands-on approach that involves working directly in the field to understand its characteristics and potential and physically immerse ourselves in the context of intervention.

WHO WE WORK WITH

DMOs, public and private consortiums,, Public administrations, Foundations, Natural parks, and Development Agencies.

Destination Management & Stewardship

Destinations are like forests, complex ecosystems where spontaneous processes occur that need to be managed and nurtured. The Destination Management Organization (DMO) is the entity that can take care of and protect this ecosystem. We support DMOs in this complex, yet fascinating and unique role.

We develop engagement and activation initiatives for local communities through future labs.

Bike Destination development

Focusing on bike tourism today means envisioning a sustainable future for many communities, almost year-round. There are no shortcuts, just a journey based on the unique characteristics of the destination, involving clear choices and investments in trails and management.

WHAT WE DO

We offer a comprehensive approach to bike area development, covering all types of riding: trail & enduro, gravel, and cycle touring. Trail design, building & caring: In collaboration with our partners, we carefully assess the terrain and its potential to design a trail system that is enjoyable, sustainable and safe. We also handle trail construction and maintenance, and can provide support for bike area management and monitoring of economic, environmental, and community impacts.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Lift companies, Destination management organizations (DMOs), Public administrations, Sports associations, Bike tourism operators, Mountain resorts, Nature parks, and Private landowners. Anyone who shares our passion for creating world-class bike experiences ;-)

Winter Outodoor and Climate change

Most mountain resorts have thrived thanks to skiing, which still often drives the economy. But nowadays, we know it's crucial to diversify and enrich the winter experience and sometimes, find alternatives. Winter in the mountains is more than just skiing; it needs to be imagined, developed, managed and communicated.

WHAT WE DO

We help destinations and businesses develop solutions for managing winter outdoor activities alongside skiing. This includes designing experiences and services, risk management, snow assessment, and safety measures in collaboration with specialized partners. For areas affected by climate change, we study conversion plans focusing on biking and slow outdoor activities.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Lift companies, destination management organizations (DMOs), public administrations, Local Action Groups (GALs), local development agencies, Mountain Communities, alpine guide companies, and mountain professionals.

Outdoor & Wine

Good wine is never made in ordinary places. True wine territories are always fascinating due to their environmental characteristics and the relationship between humans and the land. Increasingly, wine tourism ventures beyond the cellars to explore the vineyard landscapes: therefore, designing the wine-outdoor experience becomes essential.

WHAT WE DO

We bring the logic of outdoor planning to wine territories. We design and develop outdoor experiences for areas with a wine tourism vocation, through the study of routes, itineraries, infrastructure, and targeted services. We engage wineries in the design of outdoor tourism products to combine with the wine experience.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Wine associations, chambers of commerce,  wine routes, individual or networked wineries, DMOs, public administrations, chambers of commerce and foundations, local development agencies, GALs, and local development agencies.
